Karinna

Karinna is a bubbly and energetic speech pathologist. She completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of Western Ontario and a Masters of Speech Language Pathology at the University of Sydney.
She spent many years coaching children’s figure skating, which motivated her to pursue a career in working with children. She is passionate about play based therapy, with a focus on making sessions fun and engaging for all children. Karinna has a particular interest in early intervention, speech sound disorders, and hearing loss.
Karinna has private practice experiene where she has worked with children with a range of speech, language, literacy and pragmatic difficulties. She is also a certified Auditory Verbal Therapist, and spent 4 years working in an early intervention centre supporting children with hearing loss. Karinna enjoys working closely with families to achieve their child’s speech and language goals.
Karinna prides herself on professional development and training to enhance her knowledge and clinical skills. She is committed to providing evidence-based, engaging and functional therapy to gain the best outcomes for her clients.
